Liz Sheridan, who performed Jerry Seinfeld's mother on “Seinfeld” … has died, TMZ has discovered.
Liz handed peacefully in her sleep from pure causes Friday at 2:30 AM … simply 5 days after her 93rd birthday.
Liz brilliantly performed Helen on the present for your entire run — from 1993-1998. She's the one non-central character who performed through the full run. If you happen to recall, Helen and her hubby, Morty, lived in Florida. Her iconic catchphrase — “How might anybody not like him?” She performed a VERY over-protective mother.
Along with “Seinfeld,” Liz performed the eccentric neighbor, Mrs. Ochmonek, on “ALF.”
Liz was an achieved Broadway actress, showing in 12 productions on the Nice White Manner, together with “Joyful Finish” with Meryl Streep.
She famously dated James Dean and even wrote a ebook about it referred to as “Dizzy and Jimmy.” That they had a brilliant passionate affair. The ebook is being become a function movie.
Liz, who was a go-go dancer within the 50s, beloved to sing and carried out a one-woman present, “Mrs. Seinfeld Sings,” all around the nation.
Liz is survived by her daughter and son-in-law.
She was 93.
