This 12 months’s Månefestivalen was my third in a row, and like final 12 months, it was a sizzling taking place. Stunning climate, solar, sizzling, an ideal recipe for a profitable competition. The competition had a mixture of nationwide and native artists, plus Wyclef Jean because the headliner on Saturday. And on Thursday, the constructing society OBOS sponsored a special occasion with 4 artiists and the place the proceeds are donated to a neighborhood trigger. (Picture above: Wyclef Jean)
Månefestivalen is organized within the outdated half oof Fredrikstad, at Gamlebyen, and at Tøihusplassen, the place utside of Tøihuset, that was inbuilt 1773 as a part of the fortress at Gamlebyen. The place is an ideal venue for the competition, with an open place for the concert events and a lovely backyard behind it for hanging round and consuming and ingesting.
