The duo are on the cusp of the discharge of their fourth album, titled So Far So Good, they usually've already begun road-testing beforehand unheard cuts from the hassle. The most recent instance of the duo rinsing their newest and biggest on stage was reposted to their TikTok account.
The transient teaser reveals what The Chainsmakers are calling “one of many hardest drops on the album,” showcasing a scorching lure drop buoyed by thumping 808s. Coincidentally, given the reveal of the album's tracklist earlier this month, we now have a fairly good concept the monitor in query is coincidentally titled “Testing.”

The music's ominous tone and heavier sonics characterize a marked change of tempo from the album's different singles, the radio-ready “Excessive” and “iPad.” Nonetheless, as followers will recall from prior albums, The Chainsmokers have not hesitated to wander into the realms of lure and dubstep with success. If something, the inclusion of such a monitor on So Far So Good demonstrates the duo's urge for food for innovation hasn't faltered.
